Thriftstore Item to Look For: Keen Shoes

One of my favorite finds is Keen shoes.
This photo shoes a pair of girl’s sandals but Keens come in Men’s, Women’s, Youth, and Children’s. They make sandals, clogs, mules, and more.
Keen’s are expensive shoes, and are easy to spot. Just look for the “Keen Toes.” All Keens have the same toes on them.
Keen’s are a great item to resell for a good profit. The first time I sold Keen’s, I listed a pair of boys sandals at $9.99.I had no idea what they were. The sandals sold within 10 minutes. I thought “Wow, that was fast.” When I checked completed listings, I discovered that Keen’s often sell for $29.99 or more. I wanted to kick myself, but now I know it’s a brand to look for and price them high. I stock up on Keens because most of them sell within a couple of weeks.

Ha! What a timely post… I just bought Keens at a local thrift store for fifty cents and have them on ebay right now ;o) They are almost identical to the ones in your photo, too, only they are for a little girl.
What are the odds that you would post about them right now? Too funny!

Enjoying your blog.
I’ve never heard of “Keen” shoes, but now that I know what they look like, I’m going to watch for them when I go thrifting!
Oops, meant to add…thanks!
