Creating Happy Memories~Book Giveaway

The reason so many of us sell online is to allow a little more freedom with our families. A great way to spend time as a family is creating happy memories.
This book is full of ideas to help you do just that.It was written by one of my friends, Pam Ogren.
I read it this weekend and enjoyed it. There are lots of great ideas for creating memories with your children and friends.
Pam also included memories from some famous people including Regis Philbin. (I wonder how you pulled that off, Pam?)
One that I really liked was to have note cards at church in the pews. That way people can write a quick note of encouragement to others and put it in the offering plate. The note could even be anonymous.
Then the pastor or ushers make sure the recipients get their notes. I thought that was a really great idea-one that removes lots of excuses for not writing a note! I am going to ask our Pastor if there is a way that we can do that at our church.
This book also included ways to create holiday memories, ideas for family devotions, and more.
Thanks, Pam for sharing your book with me! Now, Pam wants to share her book with you! She’s offering a signed copy of her book to the winner of our giveaway.
Her book is available at Amazon by the way.

A nearby culinary school offers fantastic lunches during a short period in the summer. A full complement of silverware and expert service make it a dining experience not available anywhere else near our home. My husband and I have taken our nieces every year for the last 7 years. At first it was for the experience and to teach them about etiquette for a meal like that. Now that they are 19 and 16, it is a chance to catch up with them and still something they look forward to doing with their aunt and uncle even though they have busy social lives. Today is the day – I will enjoy the time spent with them and the food is fantastic too!
Thanks ladies…….one of my favorite quotes “people may forget what
You do or say…..but they always remember how you made them feel”
My book is a great gift for newlyweds, grandparents, teachers, new
Parents etc…..May God bless you as you create fond memories
For family and friends.
Pam
My most recent fun family memory would have to be this past weekend. We took a family vacation to our favorite place–Drummond Island, MI. We had fun as we all went off-roading and visited our favorite place on the island–Fossil Beach. On our way home from Drummond, we went to Kitch-iti-kipi, the place where my husband proposed to me. It was great to show our girls “where it all started”! We also visited the Cross in the Woods and talked with our girls about the great sacrifice that Christ made on the cross for each and every one of us. I don’t think any of us will forget this great family vacation any time soon!
My fav memory is when my sister decided to teach my Dad to scrapbook. It was so cute to see a big burly guy carefully cutting things out with his decorator scissors…..
My favorite family memories are whenever my 7 kids get together and play games. Three of them are adults now and to see them play with there younger siblings makes my heart full. They love a rousing game of Apples to Apples or Blurt.
the day my husband asked me to marry him, we’d taken our three kids to a quiet park on the lake on the last day of november. it was cool with bits of rain here and there – what more could three kids ask for than water, a shore, rain, mud, sticks, rocks, etc! the kids were drenched from creeping into the lake, one toe at a time. my hair is curly-crazy-wild in the pics, but i’ll never forget it
