Hello!
My name is Ryan and I work in the Marketing Department at Terapeak.

If you are unfamiliar with Terapeak here is a brief rundown of what Terapeak does.
Terapeak helps eBay sellers become more profitable, by providing essential information and analytical data that answers a few basic questions:
What items should I sell on eBay?
How should I price each item to maximize my profits?
When listing each item, which tactics should I use to make more money?
Using comprehensive, but simple-to-understand data, Terapeak allows you to make smarter decisions and become a more effective and profitable eBay seller. Rachel asked me to write a guest blog post highlighting some of the ways Terapeak can help your eBay business make more money. Today I am going to cover a few ways you can utilize Terapeak to give your business a competitive advantage.
*Terapeak’s product research tool is the first feature that can help you squeeze extra dollars out of every piece of inventory. Terapeak gives you access to 365 days of completed listings on eBay. Beyond showing you how much items sold for, Terapeak is able to provide a summary of listing metrics such as what time of day and day of the week is best to list your item. In addition to this Terapeak provides listing data to help you decide the most effective listing techniques to use such as format (BIN, Auction, Store), starting price (or selling price for BIN) and most effective listing enhancements. Having this information at your fingertips allows you to list your item in the most effective way and helps you extract the most value out of every item you sell. Having access to 365 days of data is more useful  than relying on the completed listings on eBay as many items sell infrequently or seasonally and being able to go back through a year of listings will allow you to find these items.
*Another great feature is Terapeak’s competitor research tool. This is a phenomenal tool that lets you take any seller ID on eBay and look at 365 days of their sales history. This feature shows how much other users are selling, sell-thru rate, top selling products and how they list items (Store, Auction, BIN, listing enhancements etc). Looking at your competitors top products can be a great way to get new inventory ideas or find new selling strategies. In addition to being great for tracking competitors it is also a great tool for measuring the performance of your own eBay business by giving you a better look at your own sales metrics. It can provide great insight into what you are doing well and areas of weakness.
*And of course there is the Terapeak for iPhone. Terapeak for iPhone lets you access your Terapeak account from your iPhone and gives you access to a year of eBay sales data on the go. This can be an amazing money maker and money saver when you are sourcing
inventory at garage sales and thrift stores. It can show you the demand and value of an item based on keywords which will empower you to make an informed decision about buying or leaving a product behind before putting money down and without having to rely on your instincts. Many users tell us this ability alone allows them to more than cover the cost of Terapeak with all the money they save by skipping duds or making money on gems they would have otherwise passed over.
*Research from Terapeak can give you an advantage over the competition by giving you access to more information than is available anywhere else. I encourage you to sign up for a 7-day free trial and see how Terapeak can help your business make more money. I also encourage you to check out our great training resources and check out one of our great new user webinars.
You can also see how other Terapeakers are making more by looking  at our testimonial page or the “Terapeakers Make More Money” series on our blog.
Thanks again to Rachel for giving me the opportunity to do a guest blog entry!
