This week on eBay has been interesting.

Sales in January were fairly consistent and things seemed to be flying out the door.  As soon as February hit, sales started slowing down a bit.

I’ve been pinning items and putting them on sale, as well as I decided especially with plush (because for the most part, I pay .49c each for them) to price them for a fast sale right now.

Closer to the Christmas season, I’ll increase my prices on those again, but for now I’d rather have a $14 sale than no sale at all.

One thing that I’ve been noticing is how fast some of my items are selling.  Several items that I’ve listed this month have sold the same day it was listed or within 48 hours of listing it, which is always exciting and keeps me motivated to shop and list.

I’m focusing on purchasing and listing items that are more along the lines of Spring/Summer right now, but I’m not avoiding the sweaters completely.

Every once in awhile, I still find a sweater that’s absolutely worth buying and listing right away. This week, I found a Hanna Andersson Girl’s sweater dress.  I wasn’t sure how long it would sit there, but it was really pretty and I decided to list it and price it so that I’d make a good profit, but still put it at a reasonable price.  I listed it at $29.99 and within 48 hours, it was sold and paid for.  That item alone nearly paid for everything I purchased at the store where I found the sweater dress :)

I hope you’re having a great week!

Rachel
