Item to Sell on eBay: Miche Bag Shells & Accessories

Here’s an item that I recently added to my complete list of thriftstore items to look for, and for a very good reason.
I’ve never actually found any Miche Bag shells or accessories at my local thrift store, but I have heard from a few people that they’ve found them at thrift stores. However, I happen to own a Miche Bag and an organizer full of shells.
When I switched from the brown wallet to the black wallet, I listed the brown one and within two days, it sold for $29.99.
Recently, I cleaned out my organizer and listed four shells on eBay that I had only used once or twice. All of them sold within a week of listing them. I made my money back and more on all of them.
This one was my fave, but I had a hard time keeping it on my purse since the top part doesn’t snap closed, it just has a magnet on it to keep it in place, and I guess I have too much in my purse…….
Not only was this shell retired, but they didn’t make a Christmas shell this year, so I listed it for $69.99. Within a few days, an offer came in for $50, and I gladly took it!
If you have Miche shells or accessories in your closet that you’re not using, don’t hesitate to list them on eBay, the turn around time has always been very quick when I have Miche items listed.

Question From the Inbox: Would you sell in lots or individually?

Here’s a great question that landed in my inbox the other day. It’s always great to hear from our readers and take a look at what they’re doing online. This question is from Annjannette
Hi There. I had a quick question for you since I know you have a lot of Hanna clothes listed. I just scored about 4 dresses in the same size. Would you list them separately or in a lot? Which would be better?
Also, is 140 items the # that makes getting the second level store worthwhile?
Thanks so much.
Love the Selling Sisters!
Hey, how are you? Hope 2012 is going good for you! I list all of my Hanna’s separately, what size are they?
Also, you want to find the line name, serious Hanna buyers know the name of the Hanna’s they’re looking for. You can look them up at hannafannas.com or ihearthanna.com.
I believe that 250 is where the premium store is more economical, so when you’re getting close to that, you might want to consider it. Thanks for reading the blog!
Rachel
I absolutely adore Hanna’s and I’m thrilled that Annjanette has been finding them in her area! Listing Hanna’s individually with their line name helps you get more money for your Hannas. Hope this question from the inbox was helpful to you too……if you have a question for The Selling Sisters, please send it to:

A Quick eBay Sale

I’ve posted before about the brand Not Your Daughter’s Jeans (NYDJ) they’re pretty easy to spot in the thrift stores and are usually a nice profit.
Last week, I stopped at a local thrift store in between some piano lessons. I had about 25 minutes to spend in the store, so I did a quick scouring.
I had just finished up the shoes and was headed to the sweaters when I walked past the skirt rack. On the end, I spied a NYDJ tag, so I snatched it up assuming it was a pair of jeans, but NO……it was actually a jean skirt.
Long jean skirts are usually a good sale for me, and I can expect around $24-29.99 for them. I was SUPER excited about finding this one, I find a lot of jeans in this brand, but I’ve NEVER found a jean skirt in NYDJ.
I got home and looked this one up……there were a few NYDJ jean skirts on eBay, but none like this one, and not the same size.
I knew since there were just a few, my chances for it selling were good. I listed it at $49.99 on Friday morning. Friday evening I checked to see what needed to ship out and low and behold, it had been purchased and paid for within less than 12 hours!
Here’s to finding another one this week……..
