The town I grew up in has an annual Townwide Spring & Fall Garage Sale every year (in April & Sept). I have been doing it for over 20 years. I prepare all year for it in my "spare" time. This time I made $1051.00!!! We sold over 500 kid's books alone! I hire my daughter and her boyfriend for the day (college students) and do it with my best friend (who still lives in the town) and we have a blast. Rumor is they may not have the one in Sept (1st time ever) because the town says the advertising is too expensive and they do not make enough proceeds from it. We may pair up with other neighbors and do a block sale then. I really depend on that extra income twice a year. All my eBay rejects plus tons of stuff people give because they don't want it go into this sale. I am still hoping they decide to have it... <strong>That is AWESOME!!!!!
