These clogs are SUPER cute, and the possibilities of outfits to wear these with is endless.  They can be worn by either a girl or woman who wears US size 5 shoes.

The perfect gift for any little Packer fan :)

Success! American Girl Pleasant Company

This is an old sale of mine. I wrote about it then and copied it to share here.

Last week, I went to the thrift store. It’s one of my hobbies. I love finding things we can use for our home, or school. I also look for things that I can sell on eBay. It was 1/2 price day and the place was packed.

I looked around and found a few things. The shopping carts were all gone so I had to carry a little basket. Let me tell you it’s hard to scoop up many bargains when all you have is the hand basket.
I met a friend and we chatted for a few minutes. I really wasn’t expecting to find anything too exciting.

My son chattered to me as we looked at the junk aisle. You know the aisle full of owls, clowns, and bobble head dolls.
I turned around and my eyes bugged out. I felt like I was moving through water. I couldn’t reach out fast enough.
I knew in an instant if anyone got to it before I did that I’d be one of those ugly thrift store ladies. I’d elbow them, grab it, wrestle or something!

I almost fainted.  I snatched it and placed it lovingly in my basket. I was sweating and my heart pounded.
This was shaping up to beat my best eBay story ever.

I walked through the store as cool as a cucumber coddling my find. At the checkout I asked for it back because I wanted no chance of it getting smashed in a bag.

What was it? Why was I so excited you ask?

This is Felicity’s Needlework from Pleasant Company (American Girls). I had sold this item for a client earlier this spring so I happened to know what it was. It is retired and collectors are always looking for this piece.

I paid an entire fifty cents for it and sold it the same day on eBay for $125.00.

Now if that isn’t exciting I don’t know what is!

What’s your most exciting sale?
