How To Insert a Slideshow Into Your eBay Store

If you have an eBay store, I encourage you to go into manage my store and play around with your settings.

There are so many neat things you can do with your store.

One really cool thing is having a slide show of newly listed items at the top of my store.  You can use the slide show to showcase items on sale, items ending soon or you can customize it.

Here’s how:

Log in to myebay, click on manage my store, click on promotion boxes.

To get the slide show to appear at the top of your store, set it to “top single (extra wide)” and be sure it  is set to show up on “all items page.”

After clicking continue, choose the slideshow, and then I choose to display new items, you can chose sale items, ending soon, or a custom mix.

When you’re busy selling online, running your home, and trying to be a balanced person, taking time to join a team seems to be one more task on the “to do” list.

Taking time to join an Etsy Street Team (or two) can be a great advantage to your business.

2. Members promote each other in blog posts, treasuries, and the Etsy forums.

3. Team members are a great resource for all your Etsy questions. There’s always someone more knowledgeable than I. Everyone is usually ready to help.

4. Team members help and encourage “newbies” as they get started.

5. Participating in a team makes the virtual world of Etsy a smaller more friendly community.

Teams are based on many interests. You can find a team for homeschoolers, Christians, photographers, knitters, jewelry makers, wood workers, as well as by location.

Teams are usually upfront about requirements for participation. Check out the teams and find one to join.

Yaami Handmade~Craft Promotion Site

I just found this great site today. Yaami Handmade allows you to list your handmade shop and promote your items for free.

You can also “plug” an  item by simply entering it. It rotates on the site for 48 hours and then you can add another item.

The site also includes tutorials, forums, Etsy tools, and trends.

The trends page alone is valuable. Check them out–they track handmade trends on Twitter, blogs, and news.
