Here’s a fabulous brand to sell on eBay: Peruvian Connection.
Every time I have an item from this brand, it sells right away. This skirt sold for $40 within 24 hours of listing it!
This Week on eBay

This past week was our Spring break, which was a lot of fun! I listed over 50 items in my eBay store this week and spent some time playing around with my Bonanza booth too. I’m trying to spend just a little bit of time on it each day to increase exposure in my booth.
I did well with auctions in the month of March on eBay. My main goal is to get rid of inventory that’s been hanging around when I auction things, not necessarily to make big bucks, but I did notice an increase in my income from the auctions.
We’re still preparing for our yard sale, so I actually haven’t been out to do some thrifting in several weeks, because I keep finding great items around the house to list– one of my favorite ways to make money anyway
!
Taxes are filed……..whew……I can breathe a sigh of relief. I’m hoping to make enough at our yard sale to cover the taxes. That’s my goal anyway
Nothing too exciting going on in the world of sales, they’re staying consistent, which is always my goal, so I’m a very happy seller at the moment
This Week on eBay

This week on eBay, and selling online in general has been a lot of fun!
I made sales on Amazon, Addoway, AND Bonanza this week…….I think that’s a first for me to make a sale on each venue in the same week! It was really exciting for me, to see the traffic on the other sites increase.
The last few weeks, eBay has been offering free auction listings for store owners. I decided to take advantage of them and do a little bit of spring cleaning in my store. I’ve been able to get rid of a few things that have been hanging around and make a little bit of profit off of them. Nothing major as far as making huge profits, but it’s been fun watching them get bids and to get rid of some of my inventory. I don’t do auctions very often, but I figured for free, it was worth a try.
I’ve also been spending some time trying to promote my existing listings more, I need to spend some time tweeting them, but the thought of tweeting over 1,000 listings is a little daunting, so maybe I’ll start with my most recently listed items.
Surprisingly, I’ve been doing well at keeping up with my new 1-day handling time policy, with 97% of my items being shipped out this month within my stated handling time.
Hope you’re having a great week online!
Promoting Your Online Listings

I am a firm believer in listing. I don’t let things sitting around that need to be listed while I shop for more!
If it’s not listed, it can’t sell.
You have money tied up in this inventory and it’s not even possible for it to sell because it’s not listed.
I actually love listing especially now that I have my lap top.
I can list while watching a movie or list on the back deck, it’s a lot more fun and convenient.
Even though I still believe that listing is key to making sales, I also think that once in awhile, you have to take some time off from listing and work on promoting what you already have listed.
One thing that I like to do is what I call “cross promote” my items.
That means that I list everything to eBay, and then I import it all to addoway and bonanza. (There are other sites you can import to as well.) When I decided to start selling on amazon, the first place I went to for inventory was my eBay inventory.
Instead of spending money on more inventory just for Amazon, I took items that I have in my eBay store that can be listed on Amazon and listed them. This way, my items are available to more than one market and I can manage it all at the same time rather than having to maintain separate inventory for each selling venue.
This month, I had 6 eBay items that were “cross promoted” to other venues sell between the three other sites I have my items listed on. That’s nothing HUGE, but it’s better than nothing, and sometimes items that are having a difficult time selling on eBay will sell on another site.
Another thing I like about the other three sites I’m cross promoting to is the fact that there’s no listing fees, only fees for the item when it sells, which makes having a large inventory on several sites affordable.
I’d love to hear from other sellers who have their items on Addoway and bonanza, and I’d love to hear about other sites you like to have your items on and how they’re doing.
Online Selling Tip of the Week

Stay on top of your shipping.
I try not to spend much time listing or shipping on Sundays. I try to have a day of rest each week, but a few years ago, I started spending a little time on Sunday nights shipping things out so that I don’t have to spend Monday mornings in my office shipping.
I love it, it doesn’t take a long time to get it done on Sunday nights, and I’m able to start my week off feeling relaxed and getting items listed!
